Q: Where did HealthMed picks come from?

A: Our customers like dealing with us because we give honest opinions formed from years of experience. The HealthMed pick is the one we think gives you the most bang for your buck. If a product is a HealthMed pick we are confident that it will hold up to the stresses of your clinic. With thousands of health products we hope to help make your decision making process a little easier

Q: Where does HealthMed get its products?

A: All over the world!!!! We are constantly in search of the latest and greatest. Know that if we announce the arrival of a new product it’s because we think it’s genuinely special, otherwise we wouldn’t bother you with it. We will never carry a product that we think will break or not handle the stresses of your busy clinic.

Q: I want to resell products to my customers

A: Awesome! You’re joining the ranks of many clinics that already benefit from this. If you want to carry stock we encourage you to buy 20 of each item to qualify for an additional 7% discount. If you are just starting out and don’t know what will sell contact us about setting up a trial retail center at no cost to you.

Q: I am a medical professional. How do I get special pricing

A: Call us for immediate account approval or sign up online. It will take some time for online approval. We will contact you to confirm your account.

Shipping
All orders in the British Columbia lower mainland ship free on orders over $200 – All in stock products qualify.

All orders over $300 ship free Canada wide. Applies for all in stock products. Does not apply to some items (Ultrasound Gel, Wax, Foam Rollers, and large items that we quote on like Treadmills) and does not apply to remote locations.

For all items that must be ordered in you will be charged shipping if it requires a second shipment. If your entire shipment ships together it will ship free if over $300.

Return Policy
Make sure to contact us before you send the items back. It is important to get approval before you return it so we know why the item has come back.

Items returned to HealthMed may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Any item that is intended to be used as a personal product can not be returned once opened for health and sanitation reasons.

For any refund the returned products must be in like-new resalable condition. If we can’t take the product and confidently resell it to someone else it can not be returned

Damaged or defective item: If you have received a damaged or defective item please contact us immediately. Take a photo and send it to us at info@healthmed.ca

Many items are very specific and we strive to get you exactly what you’re looking for. Please be sure that if you’re ordering a product that needs to be ordered in that it is exactly what you want. If you’re not sure give us a call at 1-800-248-1661 and we can help you.

Privacy Policy
We go through great lengths to protect your information. We will not share it with anyone. Our website has awesome encryption so your order information is safe! If you give us permission we’ll send you newsletters with our latest special prices, but that’s it!

Professional Accounts
Physiotherapists, Sports Teams, Personal Trainers, Acupuncturists, Physicians, Chiropractors, Veterinarians, Laser Clinics, Beauty Spa’s and all other Healthcare professionals are encouraged to sign up for a professional account. You’ll be able to see your special pricing right away once it is approved.

After your first order with us you’ll be qualified for payment via net 20 terms if you choose that option.

New Clinic Set Up
We set up new clinics all the time. With over 20 years of experience we know how to make your set up go smoothly.

How it works

Tell us what you want. If you’re not sure exactly what you want we can make some suggestions and can run you through the differences in each product to help you make an informed decision.
We’ll send you a quote, once you give us the go ahead we’ll order everything.
We will have everything ready for your specified date of delivery
If you’re in a British Columbia major center we will come with our big HealthMed truck and will set up your products FREE of charge.
If you’re not in our delivery area we’ll have everything sent straight to your clinic in as few shipments as possible. Don’t worry the items aren’t hard to set up and if you need additional guidance give us a call.
Leasing
We have a long history dealing in leasing and you may find that it makes the most sense to lease some of your equipment. If you’d like to do this let us know and we can put you in contact with a leasing company.

Warranty

At HealthMed Distributors, we try our best to carry therapy products that long outlive their warranty. If your product has broken outside of the warranty period give our service team a call and we will be happy to see if we can help repair or save the equipment or furniture. Should a product be defective or break down prior to the warranty period expiring, follow these simple steps:

Submitting a warranty claim:

Please contact us as soon as the issue occurs. If we are contacted after the warranty period has expired, we will not be able to submit the claim to the manufacturer.

When first reporting the issue please provide us with photos or a short video of the defect. Always feel free to give us a call anytime if you are uncertain if your equipment is performing appropriately.

If your claim does fall within your warranty period we will give you a return authorization number. Please mark your package with this number so you are not inadvertently charged for anything else.

In order for a product to fall under warranty the defect must a Manufacturer’s Defect.
Dropping a product or inappropriate use is not categorized as a manufacturer defect.

If you do have an accident with your equipment the repair will not fall under warranty, but our service team can usually help you at their standard rates.

All products requiring warranty service must be returned to HealthMed.
The Customer is responsible for shipping costs to HealthMed and back to your therapy clinic.

We love all our customers and work hard to help your clinic save money. Our staff will work with the manufacturer to remedy the situation; this is a free service to all our clinic customers.

Loaner equipment may be available at no cost to your clinic during the warranty period.
You are responsible for shipping costs from and back to HealthMed for loaner items, but we are very happy to provide machines or furniture so your clinic can continue to operate while your therapy item is under warranty servicing. And of course, this benefit is subject to HealthMed having the piece you need in stock to loan. But if we have it, it’s yours.

NOTE: ALL loaner equipment/furniture MUST BE returned to HealthMed within one business week after your equipment/furniture piece has been returned from the manufacturer.

Defective products that are too large to reasonably return for repair
In this case, HealthMed will provide the necessary replacement part(s) and will provide assistance through telephone or video on how to install your replacement part(s).

Colour choices are your responsibility

HealthMed will provide digital colour charts free of charge, but it is the responsibility of the customer to understand that not all computer or mobile screens show colours the same way.

Colour matching services are available if this is something that is important to your clinic. Contact us to have a service member come to your therapy clinic, or request a paper copy of the colour chart be sent via post mail.

KEEP IN MIND:

Warranty periods vary from manufacturer to manufacturer
Consult your equipment or furniture manual for detailed warranty information.
